New Game: Minesweeper — No Guessing, Ever

Game number ten has landed, and it fixes the oldest injustice in puzzle gaming. Minesweeper is now on Tapbreak, and here you will never lose to a coin flip.

If you've played Minesweeper anywhere else, you know the pain: you play a perfect game, corner the last few mines, and then the board forces a blind 50/50 guess. Heads you win, tails your streak dies. That's not a puzzle. That's a slot machine wearing a puzzle costume.

No guessing, provably

Every board we serve is verified by our solver to be clearable with logic alone. Before a daily board ships, the solver plays it from the opening using pure deduction, with no probabilities and no luck. If it can't finish the board that way, that board never reaches you. Stuck? The deduction is always there; the Hint button will point at one provable step.

The rules

  • Every game starts with an opening already revealed, the same for every player on the daily board.
  • Numbers count the mines in the eight surrounding cells.
  • Long-press (or toggle flag mode, or right-click) to plant a flag on a suspected mine.
  • Tap a satisfied number to chord, opening all its remaining neighbors at once. Fast, and risky if your flags are wrong.
  • Clear every safe cell to win. Fastest times top the leaderboard.

One board, done right

No difficulty menus and no setup screens. Every game is the classic 16×16 with 40 mines. The daily board is the same layout for everyone, once per day, with your time on the line. Free play deals fresh no-guess boards as fast as you can clear them.

Ten games and counting

The lineup: Wordle Unlimited, Klondike, Tic-Tac-Toe, Chess Puzzles, Sudoku, Trivia, 2048, Spider, FreeCell, and now Minesweeper.

Go trust the logic.
