Game number eleven has bloomed. Wordbloom is now on Tapbreak: seven letters arranged as a flower, one heart letter in the center, and a daily word target to race for.
You know the shape: spell words of four letters or more, every word must use the heart letter, letters can repeat. But every game in this genre shares the same quiet flaw. They never end. You dig for obscure words until the app decides you've earned a rank, or you just… stop. That's a treadmill, not a game.
A finish line
Wordbloom ends. Every daily puzzle sets a target, usually around a dozen words, and the moment you hit it you've won. Your time is your score, and the fastest finishers top the leaderboard. The valid-word pool is always far bigger than the target, so the race rewards seeing ordinary words quickly, never memorizing dictionary trivia.
The rules
- Seven letters: one amber heart in the center, six petals around it. Tap or type.
- Words are four letters or more and must include the heart letter.
- Letters repeat freely, so "banana" only needs three distinct letters.
- Hit the day's word target to win; the timer starts on your first input.
- A word using all seven letters is a Full Bloom. Never required, always counted.
Fair by construction
Every puzzle is generated against a curated dictionary of common English words and verified before it ships: a comfortable pool of findable words, always at least one Full Bloom hiding in it. And one deliberate omission: the letter S never appears in the flower, so nobody wins the race by pluralizing five easy words. Stuck? Shuffle re-arranges the petals, and Hint reveals the length and first letters of a word you haven't found.
