Connections Unlimited Archive

Every past day's tangle, ready to pull apart again. The sixteen words and four threads are exactly the ones every player got on that date. Nothing you do here is recorded, so your win rate and streak stay where they are.

Replay any day's tangle

Connections Unlimited hands you sixteen words concealing four groups of four. Every group is held together by wordplay: a word buried inside all four, a shared beginning or ending, or a letter you can strip away. There's no trivia to look up and nothing you need to know in advance. Pick a date from the calendar to play that day's exact puzzle, free and without an account.

How the archive works

Each day has one puzzle that counts, identical for every player, and solving it while the day is live is what moves your win rate, your streak and your flawless count. Archive puzzles are practice instead. Play as many as you like, in any order, and none of it touches your record. It's the obvious place to catch up on a day you missed.

Why older puzzles are worth replaying

Spotting a buried word is a trainable skill, and it improves fastest on puzzles where nothing is at stake and you can take your time. Work backwards through the archive and you start to see the shapes that recur. Short concrete words like ROOM, TIME, LOCK and RATE hide inside a surprising number of longer ones, and once you've noticed that, you keep noticing it.

Every archived puzzle still has exactly one answer

Archive puzzles went through the same verification as they did on the day they shipped. A solver enumerated every way to split the sixteen tiles into four connected groups and confirmed only one split uses all sixteen at once. The decoys are still in there, and plenty of four-tile groups look perfectly valid on their own, but there's never a second complete answer you could have defended.
