FreeCell Archive

Every past day's FreeCell deal, ready to replay. The layout is the same solver-verified solvable deal thousands of players had on that date. Archive plays are practice only, so your best time, fewest moves, and streak are not affected.

Every archived deal can be won

Each daily FreeCell deal on this site is checked by a solver before it ships, so every date in this archive is guaranteed solvable. That changes how a loss reads: if a deal beat you, there was a line you didn't find, and the archive lets you go back and find it. All past dailies are free to replay, no account required.

How the archive works

One deal per day, identical for every player, and finishing it while the day is live is what moves your best time, fewest moves and streak. Archive plays change nothing, so you can restart a deal freely, test a different opening, or play a whole week of past deals in an evening.

FreeCell is a planning game

Unlike most solitaire, FreeCell deals all 52 cards face up, so there's no luck left once the deal is on the table. The core discipline is counting: the number of moves you can make at once depends on how many free cells and empty columns you have open, so hoarding them is how big rearrangements become possible. Practising on archived deals, where retries are free, is the natural way to build that patience.
