Each date on the calendar is a genuine past daily, the exact same grid every player received that day, so you're never solving filler puzzles. Pick a date and the board opens with the original layout, ready to solve at your own pace.
How the archive works
The daily puzzle is one hard-difficulty grid per calendar day, identical for everyone. After the day passes, it lands in this archive. Archive solves are free practice: your best times, perfect-win count, and streak stay exactly where they were. Only the current day's day's own puzzle moves your stats, and that one can only be played once.
Practise hard Sudoku without pressure
Hard grids ask for more than scanning rows for the last missing digit. They reward techniques like naked and hidden pairs, pointing candidates and box-line reduction, and the archive is the ideal place to drill them, because a mistake here costs nothing. Work through a stretch of past dailies and you'll notice today's starting to feel a size smaller.
