How the maker works
Your words are placed on a 12×12 grid in all eight directions, the gaps are filled with camouflage letters, and then the grid is checked the same way our daily word search is: every word must appear exactly once, and the random fill can't spell anything you wouldn't want a classroom to read. If a check fails, the grid is rebuilt until it passes. Words that can't work together, like one word hiding inside another, are flagged before the puzzle is built rather than silently dropped.
Print it or send it
The print button gives you the grid and word list on a single clean page, no ads and no watermark, ready for a classroom worksheet or a party table. The share link carries the entire puzzle inside the URL. Whoever opens it gets exactly your grid, playable on any phone or laptop, and can print it themselves.
