How to send a custom Wordle to a friend
- Choose 4, 5 or 6 letters and enter a word from the English dictionary.
- Create the puzzle link, then copy it or use your device's share menu.
- Send it in your chat. Your friend can play straight from the link, without an account.
The answer stays off the board until your friend solves the puzzle or runs out of guesses. Green, yellow and grey clues follow the same rules as regular Wordle. Every guess must be a valid word of the chosen length.
A personal challenge, any time
Pick a word that connects to an inside joke, a shared hobby or the day's plans. Try APPLE for a gentle opener, or LEVEL for a puzzle with repeated letters. Familiar words usually make the best challenges.
You can make as many puzzles as you like. The same link works for several friends, each with their own six guesses. Their recent challenges are saved in their browser so a refresh does not erase progress.
Share the result without spoiling the answer
After the game, your friend can copy a grid of coloured squares and their guess count. It includes the puzzle link, so another friend can try the same word. Custom challenges do not change daily streaks or leaderboard scores.
